Meet Your Mentors

Suzan Koc

Suzan is a true international publisher. She started her career at Warner Chappell in Paris, France, where she signed the Swedish pop band Ace of Base. 

In 1996, Suzan was hired by the prestigious English boutique company Hit & Run Music, to work in their New York office. In 1997, she was transferred to Los Angeles where she was instrumental in developing the career of songwriter Shelly Peiken (What a Girl Wants, Christina Aguilera - Almost Doesn’t Count, Brandy - Who You Are, Jessie J).

In 2003, while at BMG Music Publishing she introduced songwriters Wally Gagel and Xandy Barry who are now the production team WAX ltd (Family of the Year, Zella Day, Muse, Redlight King…). In 2010, during her first year at the newly formed BMG Rights Management, she worked with songwriters busbee (Pink’s ”Try”), David Gamson (Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger”), Jean Baptiste (Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown), Jonas Jeberg (Demi Lovato, Pussy Cat Dolls).

Mario Marchetti

Los Angeles, CA-based songwriter/producer Mario Marchetti quickly emerged as a go-to collaborator in a diverse range of contemporary pop music circles and genres. A classically trained pianist and guitarist, Marchetti merged his musical talents with his recording and engineering prowess to craft and develop the unique sound and identity that has led him to work with innumerable talented and notable artists and songwriters, as well as the undiscovered talent he has been developing. Marchetti's songwriting credits include Jojo's hit single "Disaster" (Interscope) and Hollywood Records artist Demi Lovato's Billboard Top 10 Platinum hit single "Neon Lights", after which Lovato named her successful world tour. 

Internationally, Marchetti’s hit song credits include co-writes and production with Sony Australia artists Jess Mauboy ("Pop A Bottle"), Samantha Jade (“Up!”), Guy Sebastian (“Come Home To Me”), as well as K-Pop artist Super Junior's hit single "Tuxedo" and Universal Canada artist Shawn Hook’s “Million Ways”.  Most recently, Mario co-produced and co-wrote the hit song “Next Level” with Adam McInnis which was interpolated by the Kpop group Aespa.

Rachel West

Rachel West is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon. She's written for a wide variety of artists from Ashley Tisdale to Bone Thugs N Harmony. Her producer collaborations include the likes of Scot Storch, John Feldmann, and many others. Whilst pop music was her first love, Rachel enjoys writing in all genres and currently, her writing credits have accumulated nearly 100 million streams. 

Adam McInnis

Recently Adam has been dominating the sync world with placements as a songwriter, producer, and artist in blockbuster movies such as Hobbs & Shaw, Beyond the Lights, & Unfriended "Dark Web". As well as penning the songs "Wonder Years" w/ Fedde Le Grande and "Rainbow", in the movie LEAP! which has gained over 70 million views. As an artist and producer, he's placed tracks on Vh1, MTV, HBO, ESPN, Fox, ABC, CMT, E!, NCAA, UFC, Nintendo, Winterfresh, BMW, Netflix, Golf Channel, and Xbox, to name a few. 

His ability to blend styles of soul, rock, country, pop, and blues has led to co-writes and cuts with hitmaking songwriters Kara DioGuardi, Cutfather, Chantal Krezuviak, Helen Darling, J-Rock, Mario Marchetti, Jimmy Robbins, Autumn Rowe, Greg Curtis, Adam Zelkind, and more. Most recently, Adam co-produced and co-wrote the hit song “Next Level” with Mario Marchetti which was interpolated by the Kpop group Aespa.
